to go on about my somewhat amusing commercial commentary I saw something very amusing today.
It was a commercial for CLR, the amazing cleaner that obliterates calcium, lime and rust in a plethora of household problem spots.
anyway, the commercial explains that CLR will make your coffee machine work like new (cue the scene where some guy pours CLR right out of the bottle into the machine which magically dissolves some extremely disturbing mineral buildup) the next scene explained with a voice over that it's great all around the house! A guy was wearing thick rubber industrial strength gloves as he applied CLR to the siding of his house.
Now what struck me as disturbing is that this guy is pouring the same liquid into his coffee machine that he's afraid to get on his skin. Does anyone else find that disturbing and wrong? because this made me want to piss myself in hysterics. quite good.
